New MPAC Public Records Application 

On Monday December 2, 2013 a new method of searching land registry information was launched. Members are able to access this helpful new interface by clicking the Public Records link in the LINKS menu of New Stratus™ or the new Public records button on Stratus™. MPAC's Public Records, which uses iLOOKABOUT technology, will replace the GeoWarehouse® service which is due to expire on Februrayr 1, 2014. A pilot version of this new service will run in parallel with GeoWarehouse® for two months, allowing Members to become accustomed with this new application. During this transition period, new features offering enhanced functionality will be added to Public Records. Click here for details regarding MPAC’s Public Records. 

In response to the many questions posed by Members regarding the new Public Records/ Propertyline™ Application, here is a summary of its many features.


Search Features

  • By Address, Street Name and Municipality, Postal Code
  • By Assessment Roll Number, Teranet PIN
  • Township, Lot and Concession
  • By Map, or by reselecting it from the Search History

Display Features

  • Display ownership or assessment parcel polygons
  • Display property by assessment property type
  • Display properties for which a draft plan of subdivision exists
  • Display neighbourhood boundaries
  • Display Microsoft Bing imagery for the province
  • Display First Base Solutions enhanced multi vintage orthoimagery for areas across the province where it exists

StreetScape™ Imagery

  • Display multi vintage street level imagery across Ontario, 25% of Ontario is refreshed annually
  • Display Photo Library images integrated within the application
  • Individual Single Best Photo Viewer

Property Detail

  • Property type, code, description, legal description, address, assessment roll number
  • Year built, property dimensions, area, number of full or partial storeys
  • Number of bedrooms, bathrooms, existence of a garage, parking spaces, existence of a pool, existence of a fireplace,
  • Current value assessment, last sale price, last phased-in assessment, sale date
  • Sanitary, water services, zoning as available


  • Display of demographics data to the dissemination area


  • Ability to display comparables based on neighbourhood, buffer around subject property or self-created polygon and filter results by structural characteristics and square footage
  • Additionally filter results by sales date or value


  • Photo only report, property detail report, comparables report, demographics report
  • Retention of report history log for historical searching
  • Unlimited use


  • Online access to propertyline™ for other MPAC and third party supplier reports such as sales history report

Property Assessment Notice (PAN)

  • Access to PAN and associated data elements inclusive of owner’s name, phase-in assessment values, square footage of subject property and more.

Parcel Register Report
Members who would like to purchase a Parcel Register Report can do so by going to either one of the following websites: 

Search and print parcel registers from Ontario's Electronic Land Registration System.

The official Parcel Register Report contains information about liens, easements, and mortgages as well as a sales history of the property.
