If following an inspection a member believes any Personal Information concerning that Member is not correct, that Member may request an amendment of that information by sending a request to the Executive Director.

 

 BREB reserves the right not to change any Personal Information, but will append any alternative text the Member concerned believes appropriate. 

 

A Member may also request that BREB delete a Member’s Personal Information from the Board’s system and records, except if such Personal Information is required to fulfill the Board’s mandate or to meet legislative requirements.  However, due to technical constraints and the fact that BREB backs up its systems, Personal Information may continue to reside in the Board’s system after deletion.  For the same reason, Personal Information may also continue to reside in the MLS system after deletion.  Members, therefore, should not expect their Personal Information would be completely removed for BREB or the MLS systems in response to a request for deletion.
