The Board has endeavored to identify security vulnerabilities
within it’s building and in an attempt to minimize these to the extent
possible, all employees are required to abide by the following provisions: '
No personal or confidential information may be
left unattended in an office or on a desk.
All personal information pertaining to members,
employees and others must be stored in a secure location.
The doors to the administration/accounting area
and Executive Director’s office must be locked whenever the office area is
unattended.
The door between the classroom and the administration area must be
kept closed during any scheduled events at the Board. People other than employees who need access to these areas will
be granted access by office staff and either escorted or directed to the
appropriate office or room.
Filing cabinets containing personnel records in the Executive
Director’s office must be locked at all times.
Filing cabinets in unattended or unlocked areas must be kept
locked. Only those employees who require access to the file cabinets in their
respective areas will be provided with keys.
Filing cabinets containing accounting and
members' personal information in the Executive Assistant’s office must be kept
locked at all times.
The back door to the building is to be locked
at all times.
The front door to the building is to be opened each morning at
8:30 a.m. and locked at 4:30 p.m. each business day by BREB staff.
Unique passwords to set the alarm system and disengage the alarm
system will be given to all employees, in addition to any other contractors
that may enter or leave the BREB offices.
